Our first Valentines Ball was held at Fisherpond Great House on February 12, 2005 and was a huge success, this in no small part due to the many generous donations of equipment, food, services etc. as well as the overwhelming support of everyone who attended. In addition to the financial gain which totalled just short of $45,000 the evening was made memorable in every way due to our guests who came to Fisherpond anticipating a wonderful experience and in so doing ensured exactly that. Our second Ball held on February 11 this year replicated the first in that it was a fabulous evening and raised just over $60,000.

Our second annual Golf Tournament was held at the Barbados Golf Club at Durants in October, 2005 and we again had an exciting and fun-filled day of golf. Our "reigning" team, Island Developments Limited, once again took home the Challenge Trophy. This event raised just under $14,000.

In addition to the two abovementioned events which have been the primary fundraisers for the Trust for the past two years, we were approached by Mrs. Sarah Williams of Waterhall Polo Club in December, 2005; Sarah and her husband, Teddy, had chosen the Because of Jenna Trust as the charity to support for their raffle during the two week polo championship between Barbados and Argentina in late January. The raffle raised $9,000.

In April Mr. & Mrs. David Roe of The Gallery St. James also chose our Trust to be the beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds received from their recent art show entitled "Maps of the Caribbean" held at Lancaster House. This contribution totalled $8,708.92.
